Tribute To The Head Of Akogun Dynasty
Chief Moses Ayanromade Ayanbeku

Preserving the legacy, lineage, and enduring contributions of a distinguished Yoruba heritage family.

Today, we the Akogun Dynasty, comprising the Orokunija, Odo, and Riunbofe families from Ifewara, Okeigbo,Ile-Ife, and Ifetedo, gather with heavy yet grateful hearts to pay our last homage to our father, mentor, unifier, and patriarch, Chief Moses Ayanromade Ayanbeku, the revered head of the Akogun Dynasty, who answered the home call at the remarkable age of 95.

Chief Moses Ayanromade Ayanbeku was more than a leader; he was a pillar, a guiding light, and a bridge builder whose life embodied service, courage, and dedication to his people. As the distinguished Asiwaju of Ifetedo, he committed himself wholeheartedly to the growth and development of the land he so dearly loved. His visionary leadership gave birth to Ayanbeku Memorial Grammar School, an institution that remains a fountain of knowledge, nurturing juggernauts across the nation to this very day.

His political acumen was evident during his tenure in the House of Representatives, where he represented the Ife Federal Constituency with integrity, wisdom, and an unyielding passion for progress. In the realm of sports, though not Thunder Balogun, Dejo Fáyẹmí, or Segun Odegbami, he founded and nurtured a formidable sports team in Ife land, demonstrating his belief in youth development and unity through athletics.

Chief Moses Ayanromade also served as a respected mayor and Messiah in Ife land. His compassion for humanity found expression in the establishment of Ifeolu Dispensary and Maternity Home, which provided affordable and often free healthcare to the vulnerable, saving countless lives. That humble beginning later transformed into Union Hospital, and the legacy of care it represents stands as a testament to his benevolent heart and visionary mind.

A man of deep humility, resilience, charisma, and unmatched hospitality, he was truly a man of the people, loved by many and admired by all. His presence commanded respect, yet his simplicity drew people close. Despite the odds, hurdles, and riddles of life, he remained steadfast in Christ, nurturing his children—Hon. Diran, Chief Funmilayo, and others, toward successful and purposeful lives.

Adieu Baba. Goodbye, Chief Moses Ayanromade, ọmọ Esu dejọ, Iwa nínú omo Ayanpe, omo opo roso opo gbaja, o pagi da sogi deniyan, omo Akogun lerisa, baye, Ayemoja tewetimo yẹyẹ̀yẹ ni Ikogun.  Your footprints are indelible, your legacy eternal. Rest on until we meet again at the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ.
